Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is a space for both partners to be heard, understood, and supported in building a relationship that feels genuinely good to be in.
What it is
Couples therapy brings both partners into the room to work through the challenges affecting your relationship, whether that is communication breakdowns, trust after a rupture, differences around identity or faith, or the everyday friction of building a life together. We draw on Imago Relationship Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you understand not just what you disagree about, but why, and how to move through it together.
How it works
We create a safe, structured space where both partners can openly express thoughts, feelings, and concerns without the conversation escalating. Through guided communication exercises and evidence-based interventions, we work to deepen understanding, resolve conflict constructively, and rebuild emotional connection and intimacy. Sessions are typically weekly, 45 minutes, in person on the Upper East Side or by secure telehealth anywhere in New York State.
